This poster was designed to spread awareness of the ocean and saving its beauty. When designing this, I was inspired by the recent oil spills on the coasts of California. California is where I was raised, and I grew up going to the beach a lot, and I have a very deep spiritual connection with it. I thought designing a poster with something I am so connected to was only fitting. When creating this poster, I wanted to focus on the beauty and spirit of the animals rather than their actual forms. This is meant to show how if we don’t make a change, then the life of the sea will start to fade away.
